"If You're Mad and You Know It"

"Now I lay me down to sleep"
If your child is not getting the sleep he needs, chances are neither are you! Parents can send their children to sunday school and hope that they will come to personally know Jesus but the most powerful messages come through parents who can show an active and loving Jesus in their own personal lives. This talk is chock full of personal stories and illustrations of how to raise up children of faith by example and prayer.
"Daddy is #1"
When a man and woman marry, they are a family even before children enter the scene. It is common for husbands and wives to lose the focus of that primary relationship in their lives once they start to add children to their family. This talk focuses on how wives, in particular, can get back to making their husbands #1 in their lives so that their children see that daddy is #1 to mommy. Not only does this build up the marriage relationship and cause children to feel very secure, but it is one of the single most important things parents can do for their children.
"What's a Squeegee?"
Sure it's easy to pick up that dirty t-shirt off the floor right now because it only takes a second but how those seconds add up when you are still picking up after your 22 year old who has moved back home. This talk focuses on how parents can teach their children the value of hard work, independence, and financial responsibility through the use of allowances and chores.

This talk is infused with practical stories and examples of how to build strong memories and traditions around honoring Jesus on His special day.

"Because I Said So"
Do you feel guilty when you set boundaries or have to discipline your children in any way? Do you question the "right" way to parent your child? Maybe you've tried various approaches without success and are ready to give up. Discipline is tricky and is more an art than science but there are basics that need to be understood and applied. This talk focuses on those basics but looks closely at individual temperaments, personalities, and individual needs.
